Omo this afghan army is useless. How can you be funded this much with choppers, fighter jets, american tanks and rifles yet surrender to a ragtag army in motorcycles and pick up trucks.

Those choppers are useless to the Taliban.
They can't operate them.

It's better to allow the Taliban to occupy where they want to occupy for now why the Afghan leadership strategize on how to defeat them by affording unnecessary innocent casualties.

It's not today the Taliban have been occupying territory which they would soon abandon

You are right that the Afghan army is useless but one reason for this is that
a lot of the soldiers are spineless cowards.
There have been reports of them pulling their uniform and surrendering without a fight.

It is easier to destroy than build.
Taliban illiterates cannot operate a chopper though they can snap pics with it.

A big lesson to some Nigerians who wanted the USA to have a base in Nigeria to fight Boko Haram.and tackle insecurity.
The USA and it's allies including NATO invaded Afghanistan in 2001 in "operation Enduring freedom".

Instead winning the war against Taliban and Al-Qaeda and restoring Democracy and freedom to the Afghans, the Taliban became stronger.

The real problem is that these machines can end up with Al Shabab, ISWAP or even Boko Haram while the technology is already a transferred technology to hardliners especially the drones. You can only imagine how destructive armed drones can be to any country.
This isn't looking good for Africa. Its a plus for Iran and Pakistan, May be a boost to China and North Korea. If you know you know how these things work.

There is no difference between Afghan army and the Taliban. They should enjoy their religion of peace in peace.

I wish no one should interfere let them do their thing in their own corner.

The current Afghanistan leadership is facing severe pressure on all front, Taliban is now controlling half of Afghanistan and their territories is expanding fast. Just within few days they have seize cities, the 3rd largest city in Afghanistan(Imagine a city like Kano under boko haram control). The useless Afghan forces a putting up little or no resistance. Some abandoned all their expensive weapons and fled. The US has spent hundreds of billions training and equipping the Afghan forces but corruption won't let it be effective that's why the junior ranks are abandoning their post. At these rate even US and international forces can't save them. US Intelligences has even shown that the capital Kabul might fall within 90 days and they are trying to withdraw all their forces military and civilians back home same with other foreign countries. The US is even making a deal with the Taliban begging them to spare the US embassy and it's nationals should Kabul fall (that's to show that not only brute strength win you wars as even US know they can't resist a Taliban attack).
I see Afghanistan heading the way of Iran - it'll soon be an Islamic Republic of Afghanistan like it once was. The only way out is for both side to return to the peace deal and agree to a compromise (I doubt the Taliban will go back to such cause the situation is massively at their advantage presently).
If the present regime is finally dispose which is well obvious, maybe relative peace might well return to the once quite graveyard of empires.
The Taliban should also be flexible and respect human right.
Soviet union was once disgraced now it's the United State. Nobody win a guerilla warfare in a land that's not yours no matter your sophistication, the people will rise up against you.

No it can't it will take a more technicalities to operate an air asset what Taliban and other terrorist or smaller state actors lack.
Those jets and choppers are just useless on the Talibans hands, it'll be more better if they destroy them and other tanks in their possession than using it.

Get your facts right. The russians destroyed Afghanistan way before US got there and occupation of Russia and was what led to the rise of the paramilitary group we call talibans. they were freedom fighters who eventually got greedy and violent.

Ignorant people are always quick to say US is the bad guy without getting your facts. you read first link on google and you assume you are a prof on the matter already. My guess is US left Nigeria because they discovered the people behind your country's problem are the same people leading the country. you cant expect a country like US to be chasing its own tail for you.

China is 3 times worse than America. I dont know why you illiterates are so blind to that fact.

They have taken over vital economic sectors in 2 African countries so far. because those ones couldnt pay back debt. Their goal is to dominate and enslave.
