There's a huge difference. Boko haram does not have control of any state in Nigeria. Not even in the North where they have footprints.


Boko haram does not have any known presence in any part of the South West, South East or South South.

I am still surprised that some people think Boko Haram (Nigerian version of the Taliban of Afghanistan) can take over Nigeria.


1) The whole population of Afghanistan= 4.6 Million with about ten RELATED Tribes. Pashtun tribe which is the tribe of The Taliban alone= 42%, Tajik ,a closely related tribe= 27%.

Religion of Afghanistan= 99.7% Islam.

2) Nigeria:

Population= 200 Million
Tribes= over 300 tribes

Religion= Islam= 50%
Christianity= 40%
