We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative social media manager based in Lagos, Nigeria to engage our social media community.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence.
You will manage our brand image in a cohesive way to achieve our business goals. If you’re experienced with building engaging online communities, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibility

• Creating and publishing informative, engaging and sharable text, news, graphic and video content, managing posts and responding to followers across our social media platforms daily
• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
• Use social media marketing tools to improve our efficiency
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all-round brand consistency (in style, fonts, images and tone)
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Stay up-to-date with current best practices, technologies and trends in social media, design tools and audience dynamic preferences

Requirements

• Excellent writing skills
• Practical experience building and engaging social media communities or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
• Experience with graphic design and editing tools like Canva etc.
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Hands on experience in content management
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
