I don't know the real reason, but what is been reported in the media is AT&T, the new owner of Time Warner Inc (The parent company of HBO, Warner Bros and DC), is restructuring the media conglomerate. Right now, the future of DC universe is uncertain as AT&T may launch a new streaming platform.

Money Heist (La Casa De Papel) is so underrated... obviously due to its linguistic medium (Spanish). Still it remains the most watched non-English show on Netflix.

The way El Professor draws up a strategy, which accounts for every possible scenario, every possible outcome, every contingency, I'd say he'd give Michael Scofield (Prison Break) a run for his money.

I wonder if there would be a season three (3).

The reason it got canceled was because the budget of the series was 80 million dollars and North Carolina gave them a tax cut of 40 million mistakenly instead of 14 million, it was when the series was about to finish shooting that WB realised the error and they were going to lose 26 million on the series that they shut down the production and cut the series from 13 episodes initially planned to 10 episodes. They had to cancel the series because it would be extremely expensive to make a second season.

PS - GOT's season 8 budget was around 90 something million

26 million, damn! I would cancel it too if I were in their shoes, lolz. WB accountants must not have been doing their obligations. I mean, how do you miss a tax error of 40 million?! Surely, someone will get fired.

Scofield was withal bulwarked by plot armor. Fact is, most protagonist are enshroud in plot armors. It's what it is.

Scofield even more so than Professor... since plot armours are used to prevent protagonists from death or fatal injury, and Scofield got into these death-lurking situations more frequently than El Professor.

This. Scofield devised the escape plan of season one and two, was able to liberate from another prison that he had no prior cognizance of, and then plan a multilayered Ocean's 11 style heist... they made him a friggin Einstein. Professor's plot armor is a learner compared to Scofield's.

Band of Brothers is truly special. I've seen it 4 times now, never gets old.
