Thanks so much for your input

This is tricky, permit me to brainstorm with you cheesy

Canada passport can spend up to 6 months visa free in the UK.

But can’t switch to skilled visa on visit visa.

Unless there’s an “exception” rule you’ll most likely need to apply outside the uk. With these home office delays, you’ll probably spend another 1 month plus waiting for visa.

Thanks

You will need to apply for your child from Canada.

If you have not lived in the UK for 5yrs you can still get SIA YES! That was exactly what we were all saying. Erico2k2 said the exact opposite of that. BUT you have to get criminal record from Nigeria. Again that was exactly our point. erico2k2 said it was not the case. When i applied for SIA as a student i was only 2yrs old here, so i have to get criminal record from Nigeria. YES Again. You are right. Erico2k2 said that you can't get the SIA unless you have been in the UK for longer than that. That was why i said that he is right in some things he said. As far as the SIA was concerned, he was wrong

Resigning as Leader of the Conservatives.
A little bit different from resigning as PM.
(A bit tricky, but not exactly the same thing)

Boris Johnson time as prime mister and party leader is over, he is only there just for time until the autumn to allow a Tory leadership contest to take place in the summer.

I have never seen someone as disgraceful as this clown. The only difference between him and Trump is just insurrection.

They both lie a lot, i mean a lot!, married too many times and cheat on their wives, same hair style and cling to power.

You want to resign as leader of the conservatives and Carrie on as PM? Is this just so you can beat Theresa May's record on number of days spent as PM?

With ALL humility, oga Justwise EVERYTHING Erico said about SIA here is untrue in 2022 Britain. The only semblance of truth is the bit where is says to do the work, you must have right to work however, he invalidated that little truth by saying the right to work takes more than 5 years. Surely that isn't accurate, is it?
Well don't you agree that this SIA licence issuance under 6 months is only attainable if you came to the UK with the right to work already?
Can one have the right to work within 6 months in the Uk if not already gotten before entering the UK?Plz read between the lines and see where I am coming from

Guys please help....

Please I need pointers on splitting utility bills.

We got a 5 bedroom student accommodation and the bills Uniacco is quoting is high....£23 per person per week.

We have decided to do it ourselves at least for the first 2 months and see if it's cheaper. If not, we'll go ahead and use Uniacco.

My questions are...

1) How do we go about splitting the bills..electric bills really cos some would have extra appliances like TV, Fridge in their rooms while others won't.

2) If after 2 months of doing it ourselves, it turns out that we're paying higher or same and want to go back to Uniacco, can we do that easily?

3) What energy providers are best to work with for cheaper rate?

4) Per adventure, we decide not to do it ourselves, are there other companies like Uniacco that offer cheaper rates?

Thanks alot for all your inputs

Please gurus in the house and students who have faced this should please helpppp
I see you are thinking the Nigerian style here where its down to points, it wont work trust me,You got to do it per head, the Joy of living in shared accomodation eh

Nowadays, cybersecurity is synonymous with hacking (albeit unfortunately so). However, it can't be wished away. So, get on board the route; try the likes of CEH.
Seeing that you're coming from engring, although you didn't specify which field of engring and level, you might to look at security aspects of Process lines; like your CPS cyber physical system which covers SCADA, PLC, even IoT.
I'm sue, others will point out to specific online courses. On security certs; like Sec+, CEH, CISSP, ISACA CSX, ...

Perhaps, you might also want to check out below writing and others earlier in this thread

Governance is a continuum.

Policies and government programmes aren't primarily driven by politics.

Since it's the Tories that'll still be at helm of affairs even after BoJo's exit, the policy will still be retained.

If by the next election, the labour emerges, they won't automatically deport the people in the country through this visa. They'll only stop new issuances of such visa. This is the worst case scenario.

Hi all, I think I need a bit of encouragement. I moved to the UK on a student visa in December. Before relocating, I was doing quite well back home. Earned around 2-3m monthly profit after expenses from my business. In fact, I wanted to reward myself with a Range Rover Evoque (about 13m) then but Nigeria was in a bad state and I used up my savings to fund my relocation. I landed with high hopes, about £4000 in cash. The reason for my earlier statements is not to brag, but to show you that I was doing well, and I just felt coming here would be saner. I loved it here whenever I travel for vacation, so I was without doubt that life here would be easier.

To my main aim of writing, I think I am depressed. I could not find a job in my first 3 months here. The only job available that most students were doing was care, and I wasnt vaccinated, so I could not start. I eventually started in March and the job gives me a mental breakdown each time. I am on my feet for 11 hours, and get sent around by staff who feel they are better than agency workers, I get hit by residents, I have been racially abused several times ,I did it for 2 months and I had to quit.

I have looked for warehouse jobs, not been lucky. Even customer care work, they reject because of my visa status. I am fast losing it, there is so much my brain can take as a woman. Does anyone know how else I can get a job, I stay in Bradford, so anything around Leeds is fine. I can even work in Manchester if the pay is okay. Please help.

hi bro, send a PM, I may be able to share somethings to help

Please help with answers as I have no idea.

I don't think it's possible except the person has some sort of residency status in the US, details such as address, social security no etc I presume will be needed to take up such a policy. He/she should however be able to get one for travel purposes.
