"The doctrine of last seen has for time immemorial been entrenched in our jurisprudence. The doctrine simply enjoins Court in criminal trial to draw inference that a person who was last seen alive with a person and was later found to have been killed or murdered was the murderer depending on the ascertained evidence as to the manner the deceased died.
