Asian companies excel here due to corruption in government. Ask those who are self employed and get information on how they struggle everyday. What I meant by questionable sources are big business that were set up by people who have questionable sources of fund, for example politicians who set up business here and there, do you think the funds were rightly gotten? What of those who get involve in shady deals both in Nigeria or foreign countries and then use the money gotten from such in setting up big business in which they still have enough funds to fall back on. And you expect a civil servant to compitite with such individuals? If government is sincere in ensuring the environment is friendly for business, a lot of people will go into entrepreneurship and leave politics and shady deals alone. But from my observations, it seems there is a deliberate attempt to keep the masses unproductive for their selfish reasons.

Definitely, business is not easy anywhere. But 9ja own is something else. Yes some of people excel without government connections, but their growth is very slow. On a very good day, if things were working properly here, a lot of foreigners will troop into the country. Its a crime to encourage young graduate to go into biz after school. They lack the exp and the money at this stage.

How to do you expect them to conjure success.
