As Delta State,a major oil producing state celebrates her 30 years of Creation today,the question to ask is that there any meaningful progress in the state for these past years.
When one visits other oil producing states,one will be tempted to ask the question as to how and where has the huge allocation given been spent.
Imagine, after 30 years,the state is still grappling with the problem of roads.,if you visit Rivers and Akwa Ibom state for instance,you will see begin to see how an oil producing state should look.
Especially their state capital:port Harcourt and Uyo.
If you visit the Delta State capital,Asaba,it doesn't look like the capital of an oil producing state,
A lot need to be done,for the state to have a befitting status,as an oil rich producing state
