Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, signed the Anti-Grazing Bill into law on Tuesday, making the banning of herders in the state legal. The state's Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Donald Ojogo, quoted the governor in a statement that the decision was made in accordance with the Southern Governors' Forum's resolution at its most recent meeting in Lagos, which set September 1st as the deadline for governors in southern Nigeria to sign the Anti-Open Grazing Bill into law.
