THE MANY SINS OF Hope Uzodimma PT 1.

In my calm, humane nature, I have taken time to look into the reason(s) behind the barrage of attacks, propaganda, and destructive criticism against Senator Hope Uzodinma the Executive Governor of Imo State and his government and what I found out will surprise you.

1. Senator Hope Uzodinma on assumption of office as the Governor of Imo State, declared "WAR AGAINST BAD ROAD NETWORK IN IMO STATE" in return in what looked like nobody is allowed to build roads in Imo state, the Opposition camps declared war on Governor Uzodinma.

2. Governor Hope Uzodinma embarked on verification of civil servants in order to obtain a very clean payroll as well as cut down frivolous government expenses as his government has come to save not to destroy. The opposition in their usual pull him down syndrome, went to the public space and lied to the public that Governor Uzodinma is not paying workers. But findings revealed that the opposition is crying because the government led by Senator Hope Uzodinma has weeded off fictitious names through which the oppositions siphoned money from government purse.

3. Governor Hope Uzodunma removed the disastrous pension for ex-Governors in Imo State not minding that one day he will also become an ex-Governor. This again threw the opposition leaders off balance and they immediately mobilised their stooges to attack the Governor Hope Uzodinma led administration and paint him black in order to make him reverse and reinstate their pension but thanks to God who gave us a man who is more focused in getting the right things done instead of the mad rush for acquisition of wealth with which some past Imo Governors were known for.

4. Governor Hope Uzodinma passionately and backed by law, set machineries in motion to recover every Imo property looted or illegally acquired and urged Imolites to also recover any government property in his possession at the end of his tenure. This indeed was another sin of Uzodinma that broke the camel's back. The opposition leaders in whose custody these properties were domiciled, went mad, hired social media urchins, with their fat purses stolen from Imo State fund, dominated the social and print media spaces, began to hurl lies, fake news and did anything to malign and destroy Uzodinma even if it meant burning down the State.

5. Governor Hope Uzodinma in his touch of class, began the Imo State Urban Renewal Project, an Idea which restored Imo state capital to the glory dreamt of by our founding fathers. This again the oppositions saw as another mighty feat of the Uzodinma administration and immediately, they pounced on Uzodinma with their lies and fake news.

However, the question on the lips of well meaning Imo Sons and daughters includes but not limited to;

"Does it mean that the opposition leaders and their stooges does not want anything good to happen in Imo state?"

"Does it mean that Hope Uzodinma has out performed their expectations in so much a little time in office?"

"Are Opposition leaders in Imo State afraid that if Hope Uzodinma is given a free hand, they (the opposition leaders) will no longer be relevant politically because of the good works Uzodinma has put on ground?"

I call on all Imolites of goodwill to support the present day government of Imo state as we pray for the Governor for divine direction because Imo is the only State we can call our own.
