If all the details were given while Jesus was on earth, then what's the need of the Holy Spirit? Why was the book of Revelation written? Were the apostles still supposed to be having revelations of the scriptures? NATUREOFPOETRY: |

NATUREOFPOETRY:2 Tim 3 vs 16, does nothing of the such. It simply informs you that everything written in scripture, even the words of Satan contained in it, are inspired of the Spirit of God. That does not then mean everything is the Word of God since Jesus Christ made it clear that the Word of God we are to live by are the Words out of God's own mouth- God's Law - Jesus Christ. ![]() |

NATUREOFPOETRY:Again, Deuteronomy 30 vs 20 is instruction given by God to those who are of the blood of Jacob, of which you are not. ![]() |

So therefore, we are just called to just live by it and not study nor meditate on it? Kobojunkie: |

NATUREOFPOETRY:God's New Covenant is the same plan with which He blessed the people of all nations with - Jeremiah 31 vs 31 - 34 ![]() |

NATUREOFPOETRY:God told you in Ezekiel 36 vs 25 - 27, of His new Covenant, that He will put His Spirit into those who belong to Him so that they can carefully obey Him. ![]() The Spirit of God is one of the Seals of the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God - the Gospel - Jesus Christ. ![]() Revelations are not meant as new Truths.... instead they are visions of things to happen in the future. Do not confuse Revelations with new Truths. Jesus Christ made this clear when He said that the Spirit of Truth will take from that which belongs to Him,the Truth of God, To give you. ![]() |

Read that chapter to the end. Those the promise seem like what will happen in this present corrupt world? Part of it has been fulfilled. The rest is left till when Jesus will appear in his glory Kobojunkie: |
Re: Bible Study by Kobojunkie: 8:32pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
NATUREOFPOETRY:You can read the Bible....but study, in the way you described, is meaningless... as Jesus Christ made it clear that the only way to receive understanding from Him is to use the understanding you previously had. ![]() |
Re: Bible Study by NATUREOFPOETRY: 8:33pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
Then how was the understanding gotten? Kobojunkie: |
Re: Bible Study by Kobojunkie: 8:34pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
NATUREOFPOETRY:As the verse you quoted tells you clearly.... what it states if of Jesus Christ, the New Covenant, and not of the Old Covenant Law which God made more than clear belongs to the Jews alone - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 -20 ![]() |
Re: Bible Study by Kobojunkie: 8:35pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
NATUREOFPOETRY:God is God and He will do what He promised in His time... Jesus Christ is the New Agreement promised by God and He will return to fulfill the rest. ![]() |

NATUREOFPOETRY:Like I explained earlier, by use of even basic human language comprehension skill which the average human being has quite a bit of...that understanding alone is more than enough to start you on your journey to acquiring more through obedience of Jesus Christ's command there. ![]() |

Mark.4.24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you - and more [besides] will be given to you who hear. (AMP) |

NATUREOFPOETRY:Ignore it in what sense? ![]() I acknowledge what it says...you,on the other hand, are attempting to use it to circumvent God's own decree there in Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 , a very illogical act on your part as one who claims to trust God. ![]() |
Re: Bible Study by NATUREOFPOETRY: 8:41pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
Understanding alone is enough to start.... But the apostles continued in fellowship, in breaking of bread and in prayer. Why didnt leave the converts to grow based on their understanding? Why did the Berea Christians do back to search the scriptures, when Paul's teaching already gave them basic understanding Kobojunkie: |

The law was formally written on a tablet, and God was assuring them on one that would be documented in their heart Kobojunkie: |

NATUREOFPOETRY:Again, the Old Covenant Law of Moses belongs only to those who Re born of the blood of Jacob - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. ![]() How long have you been studying this Bible of yours? ![]() |
Re: Bible Study by NATUREOFPOETRY: 8:48pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
You've been referring to those verses a lot, when they were simply God's commands to the Israelites not to forsake His ordinances Kobojunkie: |
Re: Bible Study by Kobojunkie: 8:50pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
NATUREOFPOETRY:Jesus Christ told us that those who love Him are those who obey His commandments - John 14 vs 20 - 25 ![]() And He also declared that His friends are those who do what He says - John 15 vs 14 ![]() He never asked you to follow in His footsteps, let alone the footsteps of His apostles, so I am not sure where you get off trying to circumvent Jesus Christ, God's Truth , again, by suggesting what the apostles may have or not done. ![]() |
Re: Bible Study by Kobojunkie: 8:52pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
NATUREOFPOETRY:Simply God's commands? So, you don't even begin to understand what God's Law represents for those bound to the Contract, do you? ![]() That passage reveals to you that it means LIFE or DEATH to those who are bound to that particular Law. ![]() |
Re: Bible Study by NATUREOFPOETRY: 8:53pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
So, in your view, only Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, are the only part of the Bible that is valid to those obeying Him, right? Kobojunkie: |

1 Peter 2:21 “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:” Matt.16.24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Re: Bible Study by Kobojunkie: 9:02pm On Sep 07, 2021 |
NATUREOFPOETRY:Maybe the problem instead is your understanding of the word "inspiration" here. ![]() The words of Satan also written in scripture, are also inspired by the Spirit of God, but I don't see you quoting Satan in order to refute what God said, why is that? ![]() |
