Emerging Technologies will make Nigerian Politicians and Institutions look so ashamed of themselves. I kid you not. In 5yrs, the politicians will need special assistants on Cryptos and AI.

They will be left behind, not even their money will make them respected, cos they would continue to look stupid as they look now in my eyes.

Every time I wanna laugh at ignorance, I turned on Nigeria TV stations, and watch how they use words like 'enabling environment', soft-landing, on top of the situation, etc;

SEC recognised crypto as a security/investment.
CBN banned financial institutions from doing business with crypto exchanges.

Nothing can be study in crypto because its decentralised do it's either you ban it or you let it run and get your tax from investors while they cash out to their account. This is what western world is doing

Very slow pacing regulatory system. Despite the economic foundations laid by obj, we still have almijiri got powers they can not use.

I can still remember the efforts made by iweala, soludo, aruma eteh and others in the money and capital markets.

Now tell be how animals and human beings should co exist.

Osinbajo had to comment before took action yet the sec is still sleeping. In those days when CBN moves, other financial related regulator follow.. But no, when there is adequate security as the c in c is vegetable down.

A chunk of my money is hanging on luno crypto platform because of lack of withdrawal function since the CBN ban on crypto. This illiterate Fulani's regime always acts before thinking. So they don't understand the crypto that they are banning Well I forget that anything that concerns with the youth always gives goosebumps to this government to try and destroy it. If crypto was used mostly by the political cankerworms, it would have taken years of debates and legislations to even come up with something to try to regulate it, that is if they are able to come up with anything anyway.

Some weeks back, I made a comment about the dumbness of this government and I was band by one of the moderators for reasons best known to them. I was right after all about my comment - you band a crypto trading with banks, now you are developing a digital currency. You would now craftily want to run back to the platform to beg them to allow your crypto be traded on their platform. What is this act called ? And why was I given a band for the comment I made about this government and the way they do things? Is that some bokoharam apologist have infiltrated this forum?

Is'nt it obvious that this move by SEC. Is the crafty move to they want to take to bend their way again into what they had band?

I mean my money o, not crypto. How do you do money transfer across both platforms?

The problem is that I've a chunk of money (Naira) on Luno which I just deposited from my bank account prior to the CBN ban on crypto. Ever since the ban, I notice the exchange rate from Naira to Dollar has skyrocketed on the platform, for instance, the Ripple XRP which is currently $1.3 per coin, but costs N1,300 to buy a coin in Naira. You see that this means you will have to pay more than twice the current exchange rate to buy crypto with Naira on Luno.

I'm saying this because you might ask me why I don't want to use the money to buy a crypto on Luno, then transfer the crypto to Binance so that I can exchange it back to Naira through their P2P network. But the current exchange rate does not make sense to me to buy crypto with Naira on Luno.

Did you read my last explanation to this? You can only deposit Naira to your Luno wallet as a Nigerian if you set your country like so. But Luno exchange rate from Naira to Dollar is outrageous to me since the CBN ban on crypto. They want to exchange one dollar for me at about 1000+ naira.

So let me ask you, how do you trade on Luno giving to the CBN ban?
Re: SEC Creates A Special Division To Study The Crypto Market by smeag0l(m): 1:20pm On Sep 08, 2021
You can't trade on luno. What you said is that your money is hanging in luno which is what I refuted. You can take out your money from luno if you want to.you can also trade on luno if you want to be trading at a huge loss.
