I doubt Tinubu is into that kind thing. I don’t think I have ever heard Tinubu and sugar girl in same sentence. Aunty Remi must be proud of him. lipsrsealed

This (the bolded in particular) just goes to show that you men cannot handle half the shit you do or dish out. But, we already knew that (some of us though) grin

Lol we can handle it if you give us the choice to handle it. Lying about your past doesn’t give a man the choice to accept you or not. Lilian left Ubi because she found out he had a child before they got married, how he thought he could take that secret to the grave still remains an unsolved mystery.

Best is both come into the relationship with little or no baggage.

I wasn’t saying otherwise in my writing, you have been on this section long enough to start seeing everything from the male vs female perspective.

I should have said in my experience women do not worry about a man’s sexual history, I have never been with a woman who was inquisitive about how many sexual partners I had in the past, if I had one night stands, if I had threesomes etc.

No Eazzy, you guys cannot handle it cheesy. Let's not even begin to bullshit ourselves about this.

In the course of my NL sojourn and history I have seen too many threads and posts by men which speaks to the fact that you people cannot handle it.

Common text/chat messages you see on your girl's phone alone, you people will begin to hyper-ventilate grin.

Sugar Daddy get levels nah. Olumo na local one, I have heard from a former boss that Tinubu is a classy and generous one, he doesn't need to sleep with a woman before money exchanges hand.

If he jams you at that his Oriental Hotel and you enter his eye alone, he will give you money in admiration of your beauty grin I don't know how true this is.

This same boss told me Remi jammed him somewhere with lots of babes flocking around him and she just gave all of them a cold shoulder and walked away. Maybe the Lion later hear am for house grin, but Remi kept her cool in public.

Same applies to men. The standards apply for both sexes. Men also have horrible pasts that they guide with their lives. If they disclose, no woman might agree to marry them.

If a man can keep his past a secret, why shouldn't the woman be given the same privilege? How many men tell their babes that they were chronic masturbators, rapists, ritualists, abortion enablers, etc?

Please let's stop this hypocrisy of giving the men a free pass and putting women through a bottleneck.

Lets think out loud, what could possibly be worst about a man past than being presently broke/poor. our nature aint even same to begin with
In these presently world where most gurlz fast & pray to hook yahoo boyfriend their are very few information ladies will turn men down for, maybe ritualist, serial rapist or sex with close relatives like mom/sis.
As a matter of fact what men generally hide from gurlz the most is there financial status, One thing i want you to know today is a man's past can never depreciate him, @worst e no add to his value nii.
Shina rambo was a notorious criminal back in his days buh today he is a pastor .. nd he shares is past to the world, i have even seen herbalist/ritualist turn evangelist n they share there past to whoever cares to listen.
Infact most times guyz lie about being a badt guyz, while women just lie about being the best creature after mary grin men & women aint the same beko.
Men will alway have a free pass cos that past that depreciate a woman's pride is what appreciates a man's ego ... oops! grin

Lol.. Tega’s husband is a man o, he’s handling such right now. Kpokpogiri is a man o, a guy went to Tonto’s room at 2:30am and the next morning Tonto told him what a night, she then deleted the chats, he gave her a second chance.

Many men forgive their partners past and even present indiscretions, you just never hear about these stories.

Anyways Klass you are digressing from the topic, most men will hyper-ventilate at a cheating woman because most guys go into relationships for the sex, so it hurts them to know that someone else can have the sex with you without having the burden of a relationship.

Don’t take my word for it, whenever a guy asks to date you, present him with the choice of casual sex/ friends with benefits and see if he insists on a serious relationship.

What do you expect her to do?

Drag wig in public?

NL, IG and Twitter are fantasy grounds for a lot of men & women to try their hands on ideas floating in their heads.

That's why I am amused when small girls think that money suddenly gives you 'super powers' or ability to call men's bullshit if you don't have it inside of you which is evident in their choices.

I have been privileged to be in the midst of big girls (women who can live very good lives financially) and I have realized that money or lack of has no impact on their relationships/ self-esteem.

A very very good number of women (rich or poor) take the same type of bullshit from men. If it is nature or nurture, I don't know ( though I suspect a mix of both).

The only difference is that they can afford diamonds, spa sessions, designer bags & shoes, luxury hairs, solid investments and whatever else catches their fancy as they console themselves. I wouldn't guarantee that some of them don't have toy boys sha.

Some of them walk away from the marriage because of shame when the roforofo becomes public or things are sooooooooo bad that they can't take it no more or they realize na die we dey.

Interestingly, they will train they boys same way.

Exact same way they complain their husbands are.

There's no bad past, worth hiding that "appreciates a man's ego".

A man who has erectile dysfunction probably resulting from STDs and just plain recklessness in the past is nothing to be proud of. And the guy will marry and keep such past to himself and feign ignorance when it affects the marriage. Does it appreciate his pride?

And just the way some women will accept Shina Rambo with his past atrocities, there are also men who will accept women with their sordid pasts. But if they both decide to keep their pasts to themselves, they can't be judged differently.

So, sorry but your law of depreciation and appreciation goes down the drain. Just something you came up with to protect your fellow men from accountability that you force on women.

however i don't bother asking gurls about their past cos i know she's gonna lie, i understand a lady's past will always be a depreciation to her value.

Well, most people (men & women) online know the world works; they just want fantasy arguments offline cheesy

People's colorful past depreciate their value (this is outside Christianity where we are new creatures when we give our lives to Christ).

Men are just more concerned with this depreciation than women (on the average).

I have heard the same about a former Akwaibom governor. So it could be true. A friend met him at a function and he gave her serious cash just for her appearance. There was an offer to meet him after the event though that she didn't grant.

@ The bold, exactly what she did.

What she did is the way I would like to react too that is cool, calm and collected in a similar situation. While I figure out how to deal with my man.

As for the rest of your post, all of us get our tolerance level and have our deal breakers. Some women are all about we die here, others are like screw you and your BS I've had enough and they bounce.

Las las we go decide what's best for us based on our individual circumstances.

I think women are emotionally wired that once they're really in love, they can't keep those past to themselves. They see it as being unfair or more like a burden to want to keep off their chest.

But it depends on what past we're talking about.
I doubt it that if a woman has killed before she'd open her mouth to tell a man .

seems we are on the same book, hope its coincidence smiley anyways, lemme just chip this in, a woman's body is her gross value hence why men are so fixated on depreciation. body counts appreciate a man as being experience while the same body count depreciate women as being a LovePeddler

What if the man asks a lady that has commited abortion if she has done it before.

You will advise the lady to lie or say nothing?

Why should a man ask a lady that foolish question in the first place?
For starters that is an intrusive question that is none of his business.
Will he tell her of any girls he had impregnated and if they did abortions and how many?
If he cannot answer that question she also cannot answer or can answer how she wishes.

The worst is in marriage, you will see a woman casting all her family members, telling the husband all the details of their past and when yawa gas, the horseband will use it to ridicule her for life.

All these team we don't keep anything from each other, una still dey learn work.

Very foolish thing to do
Meanwhile the man is protecting his own family's honor, his father may impregnate the gateman's daughter nobody will ever say it to her hearing but women will open mouth and be denigrating their birth family spilling all that happens in their father's house to their husbands.

NL has made a lot of these snowflakes conjure up their own fantasies to the extent they now believe it to be reality.

In what world do women care about men's sexual history? cheesy

Even the ones who got married to men twice their age after he had been round the block with all things in mini-skirt, follow sef dey claim that they care about a man's sexual past.

The joke writes itself...

Men and women will/can NEVER be adjudged the same way for the same things, and no amount of feminist posturing will/can change it. The standards are simply NOT the same for the sexes.
The earlier you ice-queens make peace with this fact, the better for your sanity.

As for the OP, you made a very good point – admonish your sisters to be liars and half-truth tellers, it's for their own good.

However, it's not as if y'all are 100% transparent about your past in the first place... but for the sake of this thread, let's all just pretend that women ALWAYS reveal EVERYTHING about their pasts to their partners. grin

Women aren’t as bothered about a man’s sexual past as a man is bothered about a woman’s.

Please where is Eazzy? Something interesting happened I thought I should share with you based on the bolded parts of your post.

In 2020 an individual from here quoted me on a thread and said please can we talk privately I have sent you a PM. I quoted him back and said we couldn't possibly have anything to talk about, as he had been previously rude and insulting towards me without any provocation on my part.

I ignored him/the PM, wasn't interested in anything he had to say because he has a Nairaland history of nastiness, insulting and demeaning female users (again without any provocation on their part)

Last night on a trending front page thread, I saw the baba say he has 3 kids from 3 different women and he doesn't give a damn about his baby mamas grin

I thought to myself what sane, decent and well put together female will not care about his sexual history or will want to hook up/marry this kind of person with all his baggage? Tufiakwa

This is not just his history, it is his present continuous future tense - as we say in English language (I don't think I got it right) but you sha get my drift na? Baby boy we care o and we worry about ending up with community preeks. By we, I mean the sort of woman I described above.

Lol cheesy, so you know the character I am talking about?

He actually commented on Page 1 of this thread. I can't help but shake my head, they live very stinking and lousy lives offline but come online to constantly bash/insult strangers, women in particular.

I saw a post where he called a female user midnight newspaper and said something about her lack of a husband. In my own case he said I am a bitter woman who can't find a man to settle with, if his kind were the last set of men on earth I would rather hug a transformer.

My deduction - People with truly crappy/shitty lives offline are the ones who come online to spread their misery and nastiness to others.

Lol Klass, maybe I should put things in perspective, what was on my mind when I wrote that statement ‘’ women aren’t as bothered about a man’s sexual history’’ was women do not go digging or asking questions about a man’s sexual past.

I have dated a couple of girls and only one girl ever asked if I cheated in past relationships. Only one. Nobody ever asked if I had a party, orgies, anal sex and what not. Every girl I have dated I have asked these questions, we could be watching a movie a lesbian scene comes up and I go Klass, you ever been with a woman? ever craved been with one?

Also, every time I tell a girl I have done this and that, they just laugh it off, call me brolosho, Ashewo kobo kobo etc it was never a big deal to them.

For the guy in your story, having 3 kids for three women and not caring tells more than sexual history, shows baggage, irresponsibility and like you said it’s present and maybe future behaviour. Same way I won’t classify a girl having three baby daddies as sexual history.
