The Tiv ethnic group constitute approximately 5% of Nigeria's total population. And numbers over 14 million individuals throughout Nigeria with few in Cameroon. Apart from their dependence on agriculture, a simple study of languages spoken in Nigeria reveals that about 15 million people in Nigeria speak the Tiv language. And the speakers are commonly found in the Benue, Taraba, Nasarawa and Plateau States of Nigeria.

Land is fertile, Benue valley is very fertile hence why the nomadic herdsmen prefers grazing there

You took the words right out my mouth, bro. Benue state is one of the most fertile states I've ever been to. You go just throway bad tomatoes for backyard come back weeks later see tomatoes dey sprout everywhere. .

Zakiibaim yam nko? .. Benue get land mass sha. But their roads come bad die causing hardship to food transporters. Benue alone can feed at least half of Nigeria if done properly. Fulani just interested in those boarder town lands for their cattle
