The ugly incident which happened along the Ihube-ABSU road wasn’t anything near kidnap and never involved the students of Abia State University. JOURNALIST101 gathered that the attack was a robbery incident involving some students from Marist Comprehensive Academy, Uturu, Abia. A statement by the school management said that the students were on back from a religious event and a student was shot during the attack. “Some students from Marist Comprehensive Academy, Uturu, Abia State were attacked by armed bandits around Ihube road in Okigwe LGA on their way from a Final Religious Profession of some Marist Brothers. “In the course of the robbery attack, one student in the person of Edeh Donald was shot and he later died. “Three other students were injured.
