It has been observed that the mix for the beam is supposed to be different from the mix for the extended part. If we attempt to cast both at the same time, it always leaves a bad result. The mix for the beam should be more moist that that of the sides. Thanks.

Nigeria has zero standards, people just enter the factories and produce what they want, zero compliance to quality or laid down standards. The 16mm in the markets are more like 13mm these days. Its left for contractors and building designers to know when to add to the specification to make sure the quality of the building is maintained. We used 12mm for the beams, well selected 12mm.

We are still roofing, so the breakdown will only be clear at the end of the roofing which will start this week.

We want to start the plastering of the parapet of this building by tomorrow. I will want a clean job of the plastering, soni will like to complete the parapet dressing so the aluminium roof will not prevent a smooth job. We also will not like to cause any cement stains on the roof.

My client has chosen a grey beige (carton colour) roofing sheets.
