So much for girls privilege!

What made you conclude this is an STD? This looks more like skin irritation. A cream with an antifungal, antibacterial and a steroid like skineal or funbact A should be applied twice daily for a week. If there's no improvement, some tests may be conducted. It doesn't look like an STD.

Sometimes veet(shaving cream), more times shaving stick

Don't shave for sometime, then start again but not with shaving stick or blade
Re: What Could This Be? by Antorey39: 8:18pm On Sep 30, 2021
It's nothing to worry about just stop using blade or shaving stick to shave it causes bumps and rashes

There's nothing wrong with you. The skin in your pubic area requires great care just like you face. That's why it's advisable to wear cotton panties and to also sun dry you underwear. Some spa's offer vagiacials. You can that out. In the interim ensure you don't wear tight outfit so the area can have air. When you shave do it in the direction of how the hair follicles grow
Re: What Could This Be? by heartbeat84: 8:36pm On Sep 30, 2021
this definitely doesn't look like a rash. I'll advice u go to a very good specialist doctor in any good hospital, and present your case.

Re: What Could This Be? by Ubanz: 9:06pm On Sep 30, 2021
Simple. Just use tribact. It's a triple antibacterial cream. About N300 to N500.
Rub it morning and night after bath for 7days and you will be glad to be a Nairalander

Which one is not sexually active? Like you're a virgin, or you stopped having sex, or you have sex once a week, or you've not had sex after the appearance of those molecules?

You normally do your shaving too clean.

Try to be cutting just low that's all it will go.

And hey, don't panic too much it's normal.
Re: What Could This Be? by smokey12345: 11:23pm On Sep 30, 2021

This appearance has been on my private part for as long as I can remember. It doesn't itch except when I shave on some occasions. I'm a 23 years female and not sexually active, is there a way for me to clear this? Does anyone have experience on what this is? I also keep having reoccurring boils close to my vagina

Truth is that, this ‘might’ not necessarily be an STD as per you said you ain’t sexually active. It might just be skin sensitivity (for reference purpose, sensitivity isn’t only applicable to face for people with pimples, it affects the whole skin).
SOLUTION
. Avoid shaving that pubic hair for sometime, maybe 2-3weeks. Allow the hair to grow and cover it all.
. When shaving next, don’t shave it completely, just leave some hair on there (more like “low cut”).
. Continue like that for sometime and when you finally shave everything; it’s gone.

Disclaimer: this is not a medical advise and yes, IT WILL WORK!
Re: What Could This Be? by Ezinne1998: 11:39pm On Sep 30, 2021
It's just ingrown hairs. They need to be extracted. Or you could hold off on shaving for the next month so they can grow out. Then adjust your shaving routine

What is causing those boils and black spots is hair growing under your skin I.e under growth instead of the hairs growing out they grow inside your skin causing those boils. The solution is you have to use niddle to be picking it regularly it will clear with time. Also there are antibacterial creams I can apply to clear the black spots. This is what I do to my partner by picking the hairs that was how I cleared it. Though I still do it from time to time.

Stop shaving completely
Keep the area dry by applying Calamine lotion on it.

If it's ingrown hair, try exfoliating with baking soda. It works like magic. You can Google for how to do it

Make a paste with baking soda and water. Apply and keep for 10-15 minutes then rinse off. Doing this once is enough if its ingrown hairs

I try not to overshave all though I'm quite hairy there I don't know if it is ingrown hairs.

This is as a result of shaving in an opposite direction of the hair so the hair goes into yiur skin therefore causing those molecules and boils. It can also occur even on yiur armpits too.

Way out: maintain a particular shaving tool. i.e if you're using a shaving stick make sure it's only shaving stick you use and after use dispose it don't keep to use again.

Shave to one direction which us from up down and not from down up or just any or every directions. Shaving from downwards to upwards will pull back hairs into your skin after few days these are the resulting outcomes (bums)

Do not apply too much pressure when shaving, do it gently by taking your time, holding the stick with only 2 fingers should be fine.

Don't apply soup and water before shaving, make sure skin is dry that way the blades will be able to cut out all the hairs.

After shaving do not use scrubbing sponch or in the shaved region, just use soup alone preferably antiseptic soup like tetomosol/deltol soup to wash the skin till you feel is clean.

Do not use your finger nails to scrub or scratch your skin after shaving it will still cause you bums just make use of your palms and rob gently.

Apply natural Shea butter (Ori or Okume) on the shaved area morning and night, this will help to kill bacteria and fungi and smoothen then skin leaving it radiant and succulent.

Lastly, since you're hairy, always try to wash or bath and have a change of underwear Immidiately after having a rigorous walkout duty.

Maintain high level hygiene.

Do these things and have peace of mind.

Cheers

you don't have to WORRY....
Am just a die hard shaved lady who hates PUBIC HAIRS on me I have been through this as well I thought I would die if INFECTION ...
The reasons for this is you MOSTLY SHAVED DRY without wetting the hairs
THE SHAVING STICK is either blunt or used serverally without being kept covered or clean up ...
YOUR PUBLIC skin is very sensitive to any germs that goes into it ...

Shaving your PUBIC HAIRS is not a PUBIC CRIME by Naira landers , I thinks the solution is ....

ALWAYS shave with the hairs wet if you have .
Ensure you change your SHAVING STICKS after two shaves ...
If you want to apply cream you could use a Mild body cream such as Shea butter ,Vaseline to cool the hair follicle....

This has been my practice since a teenager till now am a FULL Adult .. ....
Re: What Could This Be? by swiftysam: 11:15am On Oct 01, 2021
It's either you over shaved or the veet u used caused it.....Normally veet isn't supposed to be used in genital areas....it's strictly for the armpits

You are not sick. Neither is it an infection. Have a friend like that too. Boil every now and then. The boil hardly have pus. Just liquid which is painful when they burst.
What she did was to wear light fabric undies (if she needs to wear undies) and hardly shave dry i.e shave in a way what there will still be hair but it will be trimmed low. You can also use olive oil after shave.

She once spoke to a doctor about it and the doctor said her kind of body is actually good and nothing to worry about. The doctor also told her that her kind of body detects infection on time which is true.

Keep calm jare. Nothing is wrong with u.
