Reports emanating from the East shows that corporate institutions like banks, schools etc are hurriedly removing Nigerian flags and other things that identify with Nigeria. On the face value, some people may want to gloss over it as nothing but if you think critically and consider other factors, you will realize that Nigeria is fast being hacked to pieces.

Already, the authority of both the federal and state governments no longer count in the East while that of IPOB is fully complied with (whether voluntarily or compulsively is story for another day). One thing has become certain and that's the fact that the separatists are clever, far smarter than the pro Nigerians. The IPOB has consistently continued to erode the corporate identity known as Nigeria and while they've remained proactive, the government has remained pathetically reactionary.

On the global scene, more and more Igbos continue to identify with Biafra and the awareness by them is now at an all time high. Also, across Igboland, the overwhelming majority tend to be in support of break up. This situation appears to be leading to closing of ranks and forming of a critical mass. If things continue at this pace, a time will come when elected government officials will have no other option than to support Biafra in Igboland!

The whole situation becomes even more complicated and dramatic when you consider that the sahel/feudal/sharia North is also technically breaking away. Their elite in this region that comprises NW, most parts of NE and a section of NC are no doubt against anything that will break up Nigeria for obvious reasons, however there is a new monster that is rapidly growing over there, and it is riding on the back of Islamic renaissance, widespread poverty and Illiteracy to gain wide acceptance among the populace. Now their elite on one hand and government on the other, are on the verge of becoming overwhelmed.

The import of these scenarios is that Nigeria is being torn to shreds in our very before! Warlords/ ideological groups are now carving out territories from what used to be known as Nigeria. Also, the Oduduwa people appear to be catching the drift and they've expedited their own movement and the more East and North moves apart, they too pushes in their own direction.

In my own understanding, the federal government seems to be at a loss on how to contend with the chaotic situation facing it on all sides. Waiting for a new regime in 2023 to come in and make drastic changes will be too late.

If Buhari and others really want to save Nigeria, they must call an emergency meeting with IPOB and Igbo leaders. At the meeting, they would holistically engage IPOB with a mindset to hear their grievances and then honestly assure them how they would be taken care of. Even if it means granting Igbos semi autonomy, state apology to Igbos, redress of percieved marginalization and presidency in 2023.

Personally, I'm indifferent to what direction things eventually goes.

The energy wasted by FG to paint IPOB evil would have been spent to address the complains of the Biafrans

No point mending what's totally broken. Nigeria died the moment buhari was rigged to power in 2015.

No matter the lies and propaganda continually cooked up against IPOB, I, a Middle Belter will always be a huge supporter of IPOB.
I rather stand with IPOB than remain in the same country with foreign terrorist invaders.

The Fulani useless regime thought killing innocent people and blaming them on IPOB will make the international community hate IPOB. How can shedding innocent blood make people hate IPOB? Are members of this regime aware their secrets are no longer secrets?
I have never seen a useless regime like buhari's fulani regime.
