Hon. Chris Emeka Azubogu who is currently serving a second term as a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency has been abducted.

The lawmaker was abducted by unknown gunmen during an attack on his convoy on Thursday, September 30.

It is learnt that the 52 years old lawmaker recently dumped All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

It was gathered the lawmaker’s driver and police escort was also shot dead in the deadly attack.
