I’ll be breaking down the core steps you need to follow in order to start making money online selling services. This will work for you if you sell digital services or you want to learn digital skills such as web design, graphics design, copywriting, email marketing, Facebook ads, Instagram ads etc.

So stick with me don’t go anywhere as I break down the steps as follows;


Step 1: Decide on the type of service you are going to provide:

The first step is deciding the type of service you can sell/want to sell. This can be something you already know such as coding, we design, graphics design or you can choose to learn a skill out the following;
Facebook ads/Instagram ads
Google/YouTube ads
Copywriting
Coding
Digital marketing
Consulting
Email marketing
Graphics design
Video editing
Etc.

There are a lot of skill you can choose the learn. 30 days maximum is enough for you learn the basics of any skill to start executing to enable you deliver them as a service.

Step 2: Decide on the type of people you want to deliver this service to:

The second step is you need to decide on who you can sell this service to.

This can be business owners in a certain niche. For example, if you know or learnt how to run Facebook ads, you can decide to run ads for real estate agents because real estate agents need to get people to see the properties that they are developing and if you can help these real estate agents get more eyeballs on their properties through Facebook ads… you can decide to walk with real estate agents.

Now it doesn’t matter the type skill you have the same principle applies. You just have to decide the type of people that best need your skill/services.

Step 3: Reach out to this people:

If you’ve been following closely up till this point, then I must say congratulations because you are really serious about making money online. The third step requires you to start reaching out to people in the industry or niche that you’ve decided to sell your service to. If we’re still using the real estate agent example, you can simply start reaching out to real estate agents offering to get more people to see and buy their properties through Facebook ads.


Step 4: Close:

At this point you will start getting a few people who will show interest in your service. What you simply do is tell them how much it will cost for you to help them run the Facebook ads that will help them sell more properties. You can get tons of videos on YouTube that shows you exactly how to run profitable ads on Facebook so you don’t have to worry about how will you deliver the service or run the ad. You can charge anywhere around N20,000 to N50,000 when you’re just starting out but you still have the potential to earn between to N300,000 to N500,000 once you become better at your skill and start working high net worth clients

Step 5: Rinse and Repeat:

This is a simple process if you followed through up until this point. So you simply just keep doing step one to four signing more clients that pay you to run Facebook ads for them.

That is the exact same process I’d follow if I were to start again from scratch looking for a way to make money online that wouldn’t require me to spend much or basically spend nothing at all. The minimum cost to follow this process is just cost for data.
