"Essence" the very word that earned me 100 strokes of Koboko on my young and amateur buttocks way back in 2005.

I was in SS1. In a Nigerian secondary school located somewhere at the heart of Maiduguri...

A 14-year-old me was stretched like a sacrificial goat on a reading desk, had some seniors hold my hands and legs and then canned aggressiveely like a bandit that stole plantain from the IDP camp.

With every stroke my guy was close to fainting. I decided to come to his rescue like the Avengers.
