We usually keep the toothbrush in a glass that stands on the sink in the bathroom near the toilet. There is now scientific evidence that this is not a good idea. According to a study published in The Journal of Hospital Infection, fecal particles were detected in the air at a height of almost 30 centimeters above the toilet bowl, immediately after the water was released. And when you consider opening windows or a fan, these particles are more likely to reach the things you use to clean your oral cavity.
