Tinubu has been the godfather of Lagos state since he left office in 2007 and anoints and disposes leaders as he pleases and has MC Oluomo the Capo to carry out orders through his foot soldiers in the streets, who come in very handy during elections.

Wealth: Dubbed "The King of Cocaine," Escobar is the wealthiest criminal in history, having amassed an estimated net worth of US$30 billion by the time of his death. Bola Tinubu is reputed to be one of the richest men on the African continent with lucrative stream of income such as 10% commission through his personal company Alpha Beta in Lagos state that presents the largest annual budget in oil rich Nigeria, multi-million dollar annual pension,interests in media , construction,real estate,retail and land holdings.

Taste For Luxury: They both have a taste for the finer things in life: private jets, foreign properties and luxury vehicles.

Robinhood: They are both reputed to be "Robinhoods" after handing cash to the poor. You can find on any given day hundreds lined up outside their residences begging for alms.
