It's important for you to know that handling or being around this tortoise exposes you to the risk of Salmonella poisoning. So you better be wise, reduce handling and wash your hands thoroughly often as long as you keep it.
Meanwhile in which type of terrain in your house sef? You leave in a thick bush area?

Lastly I hope you are posting pictures really from your yard? Because I know guys of nowadays in social media age will make false claims and post anything just to trend.

This is my first time ever coming across this beautiful looking creature, I've never seen them in person, Only In movies/YouTube

I was lucky enough to see this right at our backyard devouring an insects this morning
