As a horror movie aficionado (supernatural and psychological horror, not slashers or Sci-fi sub-genres), this, in my opinion, are the locations in order of precedence where shiit usually goes south for a character in the movie:

1. The Attic

2. The Bathroom/toilet

3. The Basement

4. The Kitchen

5. The Bedroom

6. The car, train or whatever vehicle

7. Outdoors (Garden, nearby Glens or Meadows)

And finally...

8. The Character

Ain't nothing like a good ole' scary-hear-attack inducing supernatural horror flick when thinking of what to close the night with.
