You've got to realize that islam isn't a monolithic religion. The disagreement between shia and sunni is as much as that between christianity and islam.

He can't seem asylum in SAUDI ARABIA because 90% of Saudi practice Sunni type of Muslim and he is a Shite. He would find it hard getting it there.

The only place he can seek asylum and get it asap (as soon as possible), is in IRAN.
The reason is not far fetched. Iran is the opposite.
