The Speaker, Anambra state House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uchenna Okafor has emphasized the need for Ndi Anambra to support the Soludo/Ibezim candidacy.

Right Honourable Okafor made the emphasis while receiving the APGA Governorship candidate Professor Soludo and his entourage at Ayamelum local government area. The supporters at the event cut across all groups and social class including traditional rulers, elderly, youths, women and children.

The Speaker while welcoming Prof Soludo and APGA campaign team for the Ayamelum campaign flag - off stated that Professor Soludo and Dr Ibezim candidacy is Anambra's collective project which requires common front to achieve.

He noted that Ndi Anambra must not allow political and religious affiliations to divide them when it comes to building a more prosperous Anambra state.

He assured that Ndi Ayamelum would double their efforts in giving Soludo and APGA the deserved victory in the Anambra November sixth governorship election.

Professor Soludo while presenting his policy framework to the people of Ayamelum identified the major challenges confronting the local government and promised to address them if elected.

He also outlined some agricultural programmes captured in his campaign manifesto which Ayamelum is the major focus as they has large land mass yet to be put to optimal use

Obiano truly performed poorly, and his perfomances will somehow affect the chances of Soludo. He was able to rose to power because of Peter Obi's brilliant governance. He was unpopular then.
He is using the International airport and the conference centre to save face.

But if he fails to do something concerning Urban renewal, I will be disappointed in him.
Towns like Nnewi, Ekwulobia, Umunze need to have double lanes with pedestrian lanes.
The building materials marketers along the major roads in those towns need to be relocated to a new building materials markets.
A place like Nnobi junction need flyover.
Plant ornamental trees along the roads.
Make Anambra green.
Green trees are the source of life (oxygen, clean air)
Build recreational parks in major towns for people to go and get in touch with nature.
Contract mini water scheme to the various Traditional rulers.
Let each traditional ruler be entrusted with providing water in his community.
