Talking About The INEC Technological Innovations; INEC had made it clear that full Electronic Voting has Four Phases, vis: Electronic Register, Electronic Accreditation and Authentication, Electronic Balloting, Electronic Collation and Transmission.
..
At the moment, they have fully succeeded with ONLY the first phase, which is the Electronic Register.
And they are definitely going to use it in the upcoming Anambra Governorship Election.

..
They have also said that the Electronic Balloting may come later.
..
That means, we are looking forward to have them deploy the Electronic Accreditation and Authentication, as well the Electronic Collation and Transmission phases in the upcoming Anambra Governorship Election.
..
But there is a little hiccup.
The current Electoral Act (2010 - As Amended) did not support Electronic Collation and Transmission, and thus, it cannot be deployed in the Anambra Governorship Election (unless they are used for test-running purposes).
But the current Electoral Act (2010 - As Amended) supports that if the “Presiding Officer” is satisfied that the Voter is also the person whose name and details are on the “Register”, then he can be allowed to vote. And this time around, the Register is no more a “Booklet Register”, but an “Electronic Register”.
..
A lot of stakeholders have already started to reject the idea of doing only the Electronic Accreditation and Authentication if the Electronic Collation and Transmission is not going to compulsorily go with it.
..
They are trying to make it be as if the Electronic Collation and Transmission is more important than Electronic Accreditation and Authentication.
..
Now, I am asking..
Even though these phases have their own separate importance in the whole Electronic Voting Process, and that One can actually function without the other, I now want to know which one out of these two phases is more important..
Is it the Electronic Accreditation and Authentication??
Or is it the Electronic Collation and Transmission??

..
..
..
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

One Day, One Day..
On A Very Good Day Like This..
..
Nigeria Will Be The Envy Of The Whole World..
..
World Powers will be travelling to come to Nigeria to learn how things are being done, and how things are supposed to be done.
..
I will be alive to see that DAY.

You see this picture you posted up there??
..
That thing that man said in the picture might hold true for the moment,
But it would definitely change very soon.
..
The people who cast the votes would soon be the ones to decide everything.
The people who cast the votes would soon become the most powerful elements.
The people who cast the votes would soon be the ones that would be regarded as the real politicians.
..
By then, ones who count the votes would be relegated to their true position.
They would realise by themselves that they were just employed by the people who cast the votes, just for them to make known to the people who cast the votes, the decisions they made by the votes they cast - and nothing more.

Electronic transition is important if we want the results to be announced early.

Electronic accreditation should be dropped cos that will slow the process of the election. Network will Bleep up in some areas Sha ni

Electronic Accreditation doesn't require network at all..
Tell me which one is faster between finding a person's name on a manual booklet of about 30-pages which we call Register, and a Technological Gadget that already has the register configured inside it.
..
..
(You're confusing Electronic Transmission with Electronic Accreditation when you mentioned “Network”.. It is Electronic Transmission that requires Network, not Accreditation.)
