Nothing made by man that's without flaws, but in the process of usage, those flaws are detected by buyers, reported same buyers and then corrected by manufacturers in subsequent production

This is so impressive and highly commendable!

He needs sponsors for mass production of all these, I'm sure he will invent more when he gets the needed empowerment.

Am not hating or anything...but it seems most of u on dis site don't go around much...Cause if u do, u would have known there are several versions of this so called "power bank" dat can easily gotten from d market. Both d locally made & imported.

pls stop over hyping something dat isn't worth it, They just buy a bunch of parts & assemble it, U can do it too, it isn't dat complicated

God bless you bro. We celebrate mediocrity in this country. Imagine a few days back, I was bashed on Facebook for saying a 20 year old building a drone is no big deal. It isn't news worthy to me, unless he was a 10 year old. Still, the BMS kit & tech to setup a power station is available on AliExpress. All he did was to assemble it and become a local champion.

That's cos we don't read or explore, little things excites them.

This ubiquitous powerbank is now an innovation?
The comments here are just as ignorant as anything you'd see anywhere.

This is not an innovation. It's eveywhere in even far bigger capacities
Infact I have one faulty one here sef. grin

I know people will call government to support him balabala, but the only thing government can give him is loan... But I believe it's high time individuals start seeing this and investment in it.

Government can't do it alone

Given that lack of stable electricity paralyzing businesses in Nigeria, if everyone had been doing what the boy did, it wouldn't have made a news. If every graduating student did something similar we would all hissed at the news.

But common, what he did is not spectacular but he's done something that qualified him to be called "a thinking student". That's all that's needed.

If he's in an environment that will nourish his brain more, he'd definitely do more.

You are definitely a critical thinker. Fine, innovation is there, he has done great work... The next thing to work on is the question you ask; "for how long will it take to last?".
Perhaps, you should first give him kudos for the good work before asking the question.

With time it will improve and even become lighter in weight. This invention is highly commendable.
aspabay:
Hmmm good.

But what do you do when the laptop power bank is bigger and heavier than the laptop.

Obviously this is not to be carried everywhere.
