It's a shame to even say 99.4% of your citizens dont have upto $1,000. How then are you fighting corruption, insecurity, out of school children and vote buying?

The quickest and effective way out is to introduce the mortgage system to the middle and lower class.

You could have properties though, having less than 500k in an account doesn't translate to being poor.

Who keeps money in the bank? Most people are actively running projects. You put your money in the bank, the bank keeps profiting, your money is safe but still remains the same but a weaker purchase power.

People prefer to transfer their money on mobile app than saving it into bank e.g kudi, opay, palmpay etc

it appalling that 0.6% left are corrupt public officials and kept 99.4% of the country's wealth to themselves

Nigerians are saving money in USD some of u are here laffing.

While Some don’t even save in Nigeria banks anymore...they find it unappealing and draining saving in there.

Some rather bury their money underground than going to d banks this days
