With the high level of casualties in the side of police and low remuneration without allowance or proper accommodations, mostly junior policemen and senior officers are leaving their jobs even those still serving are doing so with low morale.
I think that federal government, who promised to increase the welfare of the police since Buhari’s inception has done nothing to alleviate the hardship on the federal staff which has adverse effect on the populace.
You may not like the police, but they are the last line of defense in democracy .

I don't believe this story.Policemen may be poorly paid,however,they make illegal money when posted to mount road blocks,traffic or they are deploy to help Chinese men to carry umbrellas or guard Yahoo boys.Do you know that a policeman who was enlisted in 2019 have bought a car in 2021 from the illegal jobs they do?
The only way a police can desert his job is when he is posted to north east or imo state.They don't want to fight crime.They only like to mount road blocks and be extorting #100 from commercial bus drivers.

How many jobs are satisfactory in Nigeria ??

You only feel satisfied a little when your salary is large, N200k and above because you can easily buy a car and rent a big flat from your savings.

The truth is most jobs make you feel caged; worse when your salary is low.
