What sort of rubbish is this ? OGD is bad , terrible, wicked, agreed but claiming to bar him from holding office is nothing but stupid vindictive error. Anyway, they are all out of there now. both pro daniel and Anti daniel. |

Knight1: Did you read the article at all (see below) to understand why the Ogun assembly has done this ? This is simply nothing short of exemplary conduct from the Ogun assembly !!! We should put archaic political practices behind us where Politicians are guilty of gross misconduct in office yet they are able to be recycled in future !!! This is fantastic from the Ogun assembly and I am proud of them . The grey area , and perhaps the lawyers in the house can help us, is wether the FG is bound to comply with the directive of the Ogun assembly . Certainly the Ogun legislators should be well within their power to insist Daniel and others , guilty of gross misconduct, should never hold public office in Ogun State but I am not sure if the FG has to comply. Daniel’s sins, according to the OGHA, is that he did not only instigate the pre-dawn contravention of the orders of the OGHA by eight minority lawmakers led by Soyemi Coker last September 6, but also committed state resources into the "inglorious" project to the tune of N167.5m. |
