THE 11-POINT AGENDA FOR DEVELOPMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY IN NIGERIA ~ BY JAWOLUSY

On this first day of the eleventh month of the year 2021, it is my utmost pleasure to recommend these 11-point agenda for our national prosperity in Nigeria, listed as thus;

1. The conceptualization of a long-term socio-economic development blueprint for each Nigerian state, with respect to its culture, traditions, available resources, and other factors:
A replica of the Long-term Policy Book, titled; "The New Ekiti Dream: 30 Years Socio-economic Development Plan for Ekiti State" is a perfect instance in view.

2. Fostering the Nigerian Digital Industrialization Agenda for job creations and for youth empowerment:
Such timely interventions would engage the unemployed youths in value creations, while also aiding them in maximizing their digital skills for the legitimate creation of wealth and other value-added services for the enhancement of GDP, GNP, per capita income, improved standard of living, and the conservation of the much needed foreign exchange in Nigeria. As we all know, the youths play a vital role in every national agenda for advancement.

3. Blazing a trail for a dynamic institutional reform in Nigeria.

4. Using different outreach channels to sensitize the general public about the ethos of national unity as the pathway for societal peace:
Sensitization on how to maximize the strength in our diversities, while also having a sense of national consciousness, tolerance, respect, and the management of other counterparts' differences.

5. The modernization of agricultural for national sustainability:
It is essential to maximize the endless potentials of agricultural activities for youth empowerment, job creations, and the generation of foreign exchange earnings through agro-based exportations.

6. Strategizing a feasible framework for political stability and socio-economic sustainability in Nigeria.

7. The implementation of a research-based educational system for 'Technology Transfer' in Nigeria, while alongside having maximum respect for citizens' intellectual abilities.

8. Innovating the New Nigeria Dream - by fostering ideological restructuring, redefining the Nigerian national philosophy, restoring the youths' lost-glory, recreating societal values for humanity - a type that suits the realities of the 21st century.

9. The effective exploration and exploitation, and the balanced rationalization of our natural resources, mineral resources, and the human resource capacities in Nigeria.

10. Catching up with the modern wave of civilization (Global Infrastructural Shift), most especially, by blazing a trail for Green Revolution in Nigeria for our eco-friendliness:
This is in line with the 13th Goal of the UN 17 SDGs and in accordance to the 2015 Paris Agreement of the UNFCCC - targeted towards actualizing the global climate goal before the end of the decade.

11. Blazing a trail for an export-led economy: for a country to secure a self-sustaining capacity, her valued exportations must be greater than her gross importations. It is therefore essential for Nigeria to strategize on how to secure high purchasing power parity (PPP) in the international market. In summary, "Let us import the making-machines rather than the products.

In conclusion, the ultimate aim is to actualize the long-awaited national sustainability in Nigeria; a domicile where all the constituent tribes and ethnic groups would peacefully coexist for the pursuit of a common goal, that is, national prosperity.

God on our sides and with respect to our patriotism, hardwork, and determination; in due season, Nigeria shall take her rightful position as the true Giant of Africa in all ramifications.

In the past, we have had several 'visions', at this point; it is time to embark on a mission!

The right time is now!
Bless-up y'all readers!
Thanks!
