Acting is not about your ability to fight. Jackie Chan is a much better actor than Jet Li.


Jet Li is a younger martial artist, but he doesn't know how to act. Acting includes the use of facial expressions that show the different types of emotions required for each shot or scene.

Jet Li has this dead-pan expression that nearly always never changes, sometimes even when he's fighting..

But you can't say the same with Jackie. When Jackie Chan is in pain, you will know... when he's worried about something or someone, you will see it on his face.

Jackie Chan is also a much better interpreter of movie scripts than Jet Li. And Jackie does most of his stunts by himself...until lately because age is no longer on his side...

But there's hardly any Jet Li movie that Oga will not use ropes... impossible jumps and stunts that only ropes can make possible...
