A BAT/YemiOsiba for president sounds nice right? But who will really vote a Yoruba in 2023?

I do not reckon with any southerners supporting Yoruba's shot at presidency. Which ethnic group in the south will actually back a Yoruba man? In essence, a Yoruba contest for presidency is just like an AD man wanting presidency with only Yoruba votes.

But...what about the north?

Which north? The north already know that a Yoruba candidacy is an orphan without southern support. In fact, a Yoruba candidacy is ignominious to other southerners so in a southern sense, a Yoruba presidential candidate is an orphan.

But they supported the north in 2015 to grab power by betraying the south, it's now time for the north to reward them back by betraying themselves. Does that make sense to you? The north we know do not have the betrayal DNA. You can accuse them of other things but definitely not betrayal.

And the north is smarter than Yoruba and will teach them they're not smart at all. They'll show that there is strength in unity, northern unity.

So what will happen to Yoruba after betraying the south?
They'll become like bat, you know that a bat is neither a bird nor a rodent. Doesn't belong to the air and doesn't belong to the ground. Yoruba do not belong to the North, neither do they belong to the South. In essence, with a major tribe cut out of the south, the north is on top of its game.

The only solution to reverse the betrayal of the south in 2015 is simple: a unity for Igbo presidency. After all, Igbo have been supporting all southerners to presidency. Any party rooting for a Yoruba in 2023 is already a loser without southern and without northern votes.

Yes oooo....we will keep ranting until Igbo presidency is realized in 2023.

Support Moghalu or Obi or Anyim for a better Nigeria. Are you not tired of suffering? Nigeria is moving in circles because Igbo that have what it takes to make the country work have been sidelined? Why should you be repeating the same mistakes for 60 years? Back Igbo and see Nigeria a better place. Igbo is the missing piece in the floundering puzzle called Nigeria.

Even you DO NOT believe what you wrote there. Who will vote a Yoruba in the south? And who will do that in the north? The worst case scenario is that the north continues beyond 2023. The best case scenario is that the Yoruba put away betrayal albeit temporarily and back Igbo presidency for power to shift to the south. Southern minorities won't vote Yoruba man and Igbo definitely won't. Nevertheless, you guys have the opportunity to pacify the south for 2015 betrayal. Maybe, if you do, we all will overlook your treacherous ways. What we want is unity.

Now it's confirmed that you people truly have a problem against Yoruba.

Imagine some woke up around 5:12am in the morning to open a thread about Yoruba?

What is this unfortunate hatred all about?
Is it Yoruba responsible for your misfortune and potopoto region?
Does Yoruba stop you people from contesting 2023 election?

Today you want Biafra and tomorrow you want presidency.

Very set of confused tribe and people.

When will Igbos make amend for their betrayal of M.K.O Abiola (a Southerner) in 1993 elections?

When will Igbos correct the betrayal of Awolowo by Nnamdi Azikiwe and his Igbos brother who enthroned Fulanis in the 60s'.

Write all the rubbish you want from now till tomorrow, everyone knows who the betrayers are.. even in 2021, your Igbo leaders like Umahi are still betraying Southern interest to please their Fulani masters.
Highest y'all will go and queue to thumb print for your masters up North in 2023. sotan abi o ku?

The way you Igbos reason ehn? What exactly is wrong with you? When did southerners sit to decide that all southerners must vote for Jonathan? How do you people even understand politics for God sake?

So one should jettison support for his own political party and vote another, for what exactly? I find you peoples way of thinking as per politics is quite revulsing and strange.

Nnamani has declared he intends to contest under pdp. Instead of you guys to go to work and start mobilizing support for him, you're fixated on what Yorubas are doing. This is shameful.

Just like the biafra and ipob blackmail failed in Anambra, so shall it fail in 2023. If you people wanna become president, fight for it using real politics like other people are doing. You cant keep trying to blackmail your way into Aso rock- it wont work!

Gosh! angry

By the way, you guys can vote an eskimo for all we care. Every Nigerian will vote whosoever they please. You cant force Nigerians to vote an igbo man. Get that into your head.

We are talking about power rotation to the south the way the north ensured power rotation in 2015 by co-opting Yoruba into their agenda at the expense of the south. What we are saying is that if the south MUST get power in 2023, then the south, all the south must rally around an Igbo presidency or southern presidency is dead on arrival. Yoruba either step down for Igbo or the north continues after Buhari. Isn't that clear enough to you? The Yoruba have nothing to leverage on. No southerner will back them and the north knows this since they have proven treacherous to the southern agenda. So you guys had better wake up before it''s too late. After all, what's at stake is far more than hunger and free crude oil. Remember Benin Republic IDPs if power fails to return to the south. Hope this helps...

In my opinion Yoruba candidate is the best shot the south has. The Igbos don't have a popular candidate I have searched far and wide only Peter Obi but the guy is only popular amongst Igbos. Now my gripe is the northerns may Favor a Tinubu as against an osinbajo because of politics. Truth is I don't want Tinubu to be President. Tinubu vs Atiku it might be tough Atiku vs osinbajo would be tougher. My prayer if osinbajo or Fashola be President then I have faith in Nigeria otherwise Na Sidon look till I kepme.
