hello I bought 200ha Dry Cell [ two pixies ] of new Luminous inverter battery Direct from the Company, But the battery did not last more than ten Month. which I see it as wasting of money If I use it to power 32inch TV it does not last more than 45minute before it go off Can someone explain what I don't no about Inverter Battery ? Because am afraid of going for battery again, Why am thinking of going back to Generator |

ojeysky: I charged it almost everyday because light is stable in my area ( NEPA took light and the come back between 3hours ) Then inverter start charging Connected in Series Load 650w I don't no discharge voltage because the inverter did not show meter, it only shows ON on the front panel. If the inverter is charging it we show CH. From CH to 99.1% |

bisiriyu7hamed: Since you connected in series it means you only have 200AH 24v battery set-up, putting a consistent load of 650w is definitely too much and that explains why the battery died early
At what percentage does it read low battery? The deeper the depth of discharge(DoD), the faster the battery gives up the ghost. Am afraid you will still have same issue if you buy another battery, so I suggest you either reduce yoyouru load or decide on the number of backup time you require then build a battery bank based on that. A consistent 650w load on 200ah 24v battery should not run for more than 30min (to keep the DoD at 50%). 3 Likes |
