Whiteangel1234:
Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, popularly known as ‘meth’ in Igbo land or crystal meth/ Ice in some parts of Lagos state, comes in clear crystal chunks or shiny blue-white rocks. This new dangerous drug as reported by NDLEA is already sending Nigerian youths to their graves.

meth is a very addictive stimulant drug. It is a powder that can be made into a pill or a shiny rock (called a crystal). The powder can be eaten or snorted up the nose. It can also be mixed with liquid and injected into your body with a needle. Crystal meth is smoked in a small glass pipe. Meth at first causes a rush of good feelings, but then users feel edgy, overly excited, angry, or afraid. Meth use can quickly lead to addiction.

What's the difference between this and the Taliban?

This is anarchy, chaos, lawlessness at its peak.

It must be hell living in this type of environment. Imagine you can't have access to law enforcement agencies.

You can't have these miscreants arrested. Your neighbour could decide to smash all your teeth and you don't have access to police.

The same drugs you export to other people's country , sold to their youths and mess up their future! Ain't that a double standard?

Are you surprised?

It's only in Igboland, a place where evil is frowned at and efforts made to correct things that the community comes together to punish their youths in a bid to save them from a societal evil as drug abuse. The method might not be the best, but it's a way of drawing attention to the evil called drug abuse.

Other parts of Nigeria would deny the drug use, ignore it or collect government money and embezzle it all in the name of lying to themselves. They will even give it religious interpretations or start trading blames like, "is it not yoruba people that sell our fulani boys drugs?"

Igboland is the best society in Africa.

Oga keep quiet I’m not Igbo but no one in Nigeria takes hard drugs more than Lagosians, especially the girls. They all get high. One way or the other.

Community Discipline has helped to reshape the lives of many.

Very Good one from the community. After Discipline them, they should be effort to Rehabilitate them.

Proverbs 13:24
He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

This just confirmed you are far from what you preach. You are not different from the numerous wicked humans out there.

Shame!
