Inflation encourages civilians to work, the problem with food prices and inflation falling is that civilians aren’t encouraged to work or spend or invest in productive labour but rather save their money work less and wait for deflation to make them artificially wealthier without actually working to make any of that wealth legitimate, deflation cannot continue for the health of the Nigerian economy even if that harms the lives of civilians
