TO THOSE WITH VITAL INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THIS VERY IMPORTANT AIRPORT... I WISH TO KNOW WHY THIS AIRPORT HAS NOT STARTED EVEN AFTER ITS COMMISIONING BY THE GOVERNOR OF THAT STATE?. SHALL WE HINDER OUR OWN AS A RESULT OF POLITICS? IS THIS HOW OUR COUNTRY WILL MOVE ON?
PLEASE I NEED VALUE LADEN CONTRIBUTIONS
...PLEASE NO HATE SPEECH.... ONLY THE WAY FORWARD... THANKS...

That airport is not ready. The FG cited security reasons initially, but got defeated on logic and facts.
Also, know that the security reasons are still there and that they government is not friendly to South East. Therefore, it's not going to be easy. In fact, I foresee that airport not opening until after 2023. Imagine the aviation minister has never been there. That's unheard of.
Obiano should also take some blames. He made the airport look like a political tool and those in APC moved politically too.

Please can you say how the Airport isn't ready?

Talking about insecurity, is Zamfara, Kaduna, Borno, Niger and even Buhari's home state of Kastina more safer than Anambra yet aviation activities are going on in respective airport.

Infrastructure like train has been attacked on Abuja - Kaduna route yet it was not shut down due to insecurity.

Atleast Obiano delivered his political promise in building an Airport, where is Air Nigeria APC and buhari promised?
Is that also a political tool.

Nigeria is backwards, unproductive and unprogressive due ethno-regional bias and sentiment.

Its very clear that what is happening to anambra airport is economic sabotage

Atimes I don't blame young ibos for agitating for a separate country. Nigeria with its potential is a basket of failure

Anambra international airport is surely be a landmark project.
Many Igbo traders and entrepreneurs here in Cameroon who have economic ties with Onitsha, Aba and Nnewi will surely enjoy it.

Airpeace has secured Cameroon route and Igbo communities in Yaounde and Douala will tap into the initiative

Obiano, in his speech during the inauguration ceremony that attracted top government officials, eminent personalities, members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and the governorship candidate, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and well-wishers, disclosed that the Director-General of the NCAA, Mr. Musa Nuhu, had already handed in certificate of commercial flights operations.

He, however, said that NCAA insisted that the approved airlines must have their facilities on ground to ensure the comfort of passengers
