Remember to wash and cleanse your face before applying any of these facemasks:

The Banana Mash
Ingredients:
2 x Bananas
Excellent for a combination of skins due to containing vitamin C, A, B and B12. They also contain potassium and magnesium which help slough off dead skin and energise complexion.
3 x teaspoons of Honey
Honey comes in handy for skin prone to breakouts as it reduces redness and dries them out due to the amount of concentrated sugar which will help to strain the moisture from your spots.
1 x handful of porridge oats
This will help combine the mixture together and make easier to paste on your face.

Method:
Blend the banana’s into a smooth paste, add the tablespoons of honey and a small handful of oats. Blend again and apply to your face. Leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water then pat face with cold flannel after.

Avocado & Lemon Mask
Ingredients:
1 x Ripe Avocado
Avocado is rich in vitamins and lecithin which will help restore your skin back to full health. The oils will also help to reduce fat and dirt clogs in your pores.
1 x Egg White (room temp)
Egg white will tighten your skin to help give your face a healthy glow and demolish the look of fine lines by removing your dead skin cells.
1 x tablespoon of Lemon Juice
Perfect for reducing redness and tightening spots, but don’t use if you have chapped/broken skin as it will sting and cause irritation.

Method:
If you can, exfoliate a day before applying this mask. Start by cutting the avocado into small pieces and mash into a cream paste. Mix in the egg white and lemon juice and apply immediately. It is probably best to try and keep still with this mask on as it falls off easily. Leave to tighten on your face for 30 minutes and rinse as per and finish with a cold flannel.

Fruit Peel
Ingredients:
1 x ½ cup of nonfat Greek Yoghurt
Greek Yoghurt contains lactic acid and zinc which helps to dry acne and smooth your skin tone.
1 x ripe Strawberry
The salicylic acid in Strawberries sloughs off dead skin, shrink pores and promote cell regeneration.
4 x Pineapple cubes
The Enzymes in Pineapple help to brighten dull skin and eliminate toxins.
1 x teaspoon of Honey

Method:
Pour all ingredients into a blender until it turns into a semi-solid puree and massage gently into your skin – avoiding the eye area. Leave for 10 minutes and then rinse. Apply a light layer of your usual moisturiser afterwards.

Sugar Honey Pecan Scrub
Ingredients:
2 oz. crushed Pecans
Pecans are full of antioxidants, omega-3 and numerous vitamins and minerals which make it an essential ingredient for many DIY facemasks.
2 oz. Sugar
Sugar makes for an excellent exfoliation ingredient.
1 x tablespoon of Honey
1 x tablespoon of Almond Oil
Almond Oil is rich in vitamin E, magnesium and calcium, which makes great emollient and provides plenty of moisture.
2/3 x drops of your preferred fragranced oil
I.e. Lavender, rosemary or citrus oil – this will add to the scent.

Method:
Crush the pecans and blend in the sugar together into a small bowl. Stir in the oil and honey and add your choice of fragranced oils and massage this gently on your face in a circular motion. This mixture can be used all over the body and will leave your skin feeling smooth, moist and smelling gorgeous.

The Daisy Facial
Ingredients:
1 x Daisy Flower
Daisies contain Bellis which is an extract that helps brighten your skin and give you a summer glow.
1 x large tablespoon of your usual facial moisturiser
Method:
Crush all the petals and squeeze them with your fingers (this will release all of the essential oils) which and mix in your favourite moisturiser until it turns into a paste. Apply this all over your face and let it sit for 7-10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and finish with a cold flannel to close your pores.
