The National Lottery Regulatory Commission has resumed its campaign against underage gaming in Nigeria. Good one by the commission. But how can they ensure effectiveness? Even betting ads don't carry not suitable for under 18 anymore, anything now goes.. Reminds me of the time when we were kids and we would go to a playstation centre directly after school in our school uniform. If the owner said No, we simply moved to the next shop that would take our money. People, kids inclusive now see gambling as a way out of poverty. How do you convince them to forgo their miracle? All of this doesn't solve anything. Those underage are even their biggest clients. Send law enforcement agents to go after them across all betting centres. At d end all of them will still be compromised. Naija matter get as e be!!!! |
