When I am gone

When I am gone
When my days have been counted
When I no longer sit here
You will remember.

My legacy of love
The freedom of expressions
My meekness and soberness
My tranquility and serenity.

My loyalty to my nation
My love for education

14 Federal Universities
Yes I built many institutions.

My love for equity
For transparency
Credible electioneering
For growth and prosperity

Though I get the sticks
The unfair condemnations
From the selfish in heart
From desperate power thirsty

From incompetent desperados

When I am gone
You will look for my humility
My sensitivity
My ideology of peace

When I am gone
I will not be forgotten
For putting my ambition second
And democracy first.

I think I am the most criticised president in the whole world, but I tell this noble audience that before I leave, I will also be the most praised president. ( Goodluck Jonathan)
