Nnam Johnpaul, a third year student from the department of masscomunication of the institution speaking to Myschoolnews stated that the mandate by IPOB has contributed immensely in making students lag behind in their academics schedule and called on government to take actions to stop this mandate.

He also revealed that the mandate is really affecting him negatively.

Another student from the University revealed that the issuance of sit at home order has also led to lecturers not coming to class to teach students and that it has left students with difficulties in their academics pursuit

He said"it is affecting me negatively in the sense that with the sit at home order most of the lectures do not come out, like today for instance we have six to five lectures but only two of the lecturers came to teach"

He recounted how getting transportation to the school campus for students outside the school has become very difficult as most shuttle drivers also do not come to work on the sit at home days

Francis, a third year student from the department of masscomunication in the university lamented about the increament in prices of foodstuffs in market because of the sit at home order by IPOB.

He revealed that sellers have utilize the opportunity to increase prices of food items especially on Saturdays and Sundays as they knew that Mondays are sit at home and that students have no other option than to buy the costly food items

He however, pleaded with the necessary authorities to look into the issue of every Monday sit at home and proffer solutions and also opined that IPOB should be strategic in advocating for their aim.

Onochie Onyibor a 100 level student of the institution also stated that the mandate by IPOB has caused students to be missing lectures which lecturers do not even take cognisance of.

He futher stated that the laiser-affair attitude the government is paying towards the situation is making the situation worse.

However, Favour a student from the department of theater Arts and film studies of the institution revealed that the order has no positive impact to the government as well as to the general public.

With regards to the opinion from the various students of the above institution, MyschoolnewsTv have discovered that the institution's activities are not on its usual functioning every Mondays as against other days the university environment used to be lively.

The deserted environment of the university on Mondays was as a result of the sit at home order mandate by indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB)

MNK is not, has not and would never be a problem to any sane and discerning mind. But unfortunately, this is Nigeria and this is Nairaland. Zoo people everywhere. People like Baawaa, the atulu whose comments is up there is a typical instance.
Leave Mazi Nnamdi KANU alone!
