SSANU threatens strike over non-payment of teachers’ five-year salaries in Rivers The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Rivers State University (RSU), has threatened to embark on fresh strike action over the refusal of Governor Nyesom Wike to obey a court judgment. The judgment had ordered immediate payment of teachers salaries in state-owned tertiary institutions, which had been stopped by the state government for five years.
