Train them locally to collect N50 on the roads? Or train them to act like armed robbers?? Our police service has no training they are stark illiterates with no knowledge of the constitution or human/civil rights. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Because the Sympathizers of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system for Nigeria who are controlling Nigeria would not want help from another country to train Nigeria police and soldiers. In the senate, there has been pleadings by Senators for external help to curb insecurity in Nigeria. Insecurity in Nigeria started after the leaders of the 12 northern sharia states adopted unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal justice system. Boko Haram quickly emerged after and says that it’s fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal justice system. Secessionists in the south have been tagged terrorists by sympathizers of one Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws. |

Truly, our leaders don't mean well for our people and country. They'd rather request for any funds available for embezzlement. Just imagine what transformation 30k German trained Police personnel could bring to our poorly trained force 1 Like 1 Share |

mmsen:Result of what? 100% of Nigerian special forces are trained abroad. 100% of fighter pilots get major part of their training abroad. Just ask anyone you know in the military, they will tell you the results! Just look at the locally trained NDA graduates, they are specialist in running away from Boko haram while abandoning weapons they claim they don't have. Hong Kong riot lasted for months, it was stopped without the need for armed reinforcement even when the protest turned violent because the police where well trained. It is wise to learn from those who are experienced and better. 6 Likes |

festacman:Most Nigerians don't want to pay custom dues, that hasn't stop custom from collecting fees. Most Nigerians are not in charge of the police and cannot be blamed for its decisions. The so-called modern kits are either severely scarce or absent at most police divisions. |
