Let me begin by quoting this scripture and saying it is wrong thing to do by scaring people with hell and the end of the world as a means to make them convert. Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines.......... If any man comes to you telling you that God told him he is ending the world or he died and wake-up and God gave him the date for the end of the world, or he saw one old woman who told him the world is ending in two weeks time and the person disappeared after telling him the message, just kindly walk out of such a person to avoid them corrupting your life with lies  . If Jesus the son of God does not know the hour or time the world will end, is it an angel or a mere human that will now know when the world will end? If you really want to wins souls which is a commandment for all Christian, then you should show Christian virtues.Jesus gave two commandments; 1. You should love God (This encompasses all 10 commandments because anyone who loves God will not disobey him by doing the things he hates). 2. Love you neighbor same way you love yourself (This also encompass most of the commandments). If you love your neighbor you will not kill them, lie against them, sleep with their wives or steal from them. This means you will always do unto others what you wish for them to do unto you. 1 Like |

But what we have today in churches is entirely different. Let's not talk about the war with denomination, there is a particular church that acts like a cultist group, they see every other person as a sinner and always avoid them like diseases because they feel belovered should not be yolked with sinners. But they forgot Jesus dwelled among sinners, ate and drank with them. So quick to judge forgetting the Bible condemns judging because God is the only judge. Let me tell you a story that happened long long ago, A pastor had this young street guy he was preaching to. One Sunday morning on his way to church he saw the young at a shop and as he approached, the young man quickly put out his cigarette trying to conceal it, the pastor (Then he was just a church Ursher) walked to the woman who owns the church paid for extra cigarettes and beer and walked away to church. The guy was amazed how he never judged him and today that same guy converted and has been a pastor for 18years. Another native doctor always walks his children to church every Sunday morning, waits for them to enter before he turns back, because he said he wants his children to have a pure and clean heart just like the pastor. So instead of you straining your voice SHOUTING JESUS IS COMING soon and scaring people with HELL, why not give out one from that jean, shirt and shoe to that guy or girl who got not. Why not give food to that hungry child in your street. Instead of Judging from a far distance, why not go close to know why people made some certain choices? You are the Christ people see because to so many of them CHRIST IS JUST AN IMAGINARY FRIEND, but with you they can see Christ. peggywebbs: You are the ones misleading people, do you think the gospel has gotten to Every part of the earth ? Why say things you don't know confidently? Are you aware of an island I think in India that is been protected from external influence, the last missionaries that went there did not live to tell the story. Everything happening today did it begin today? Stop scaring people with end time always, show them what Christianity is all about. |

The world can't end through religion. It can only end through elements of science, so it's better we listen to Science regarding world ending, but I can assure you that the world will still be here by the year 10,000. |

Stop misleading people. Even atheists know that the end of the world is imminent. Why else will people be screaming climate change and looking for planets that support human life. Stop misleading people. Your belief shouldn't be colored or painted to make people like it. No matter how you try to butter it, those who will choose not to follow will still stay far away. That's why its called a choice. If they know the hard truth, its their choice to either go with it toss it away. If the bible says the world would end and there will be judgement. That's the truth and there is no reason to butter it. There are thousands of people who are surrendering to God and they don't do it through deceit. They know what they are getting into and they are not scared. The truth is not meant to scare you but prepare you. freshkpomo: |
