I have a friend that has an NGO that combats the drug epidemic in the North and she tells all sort of interesting stories.

Stories of how Almajiri boys will be caught with packets of tramadol even though it is supposedly illegal. Children using septic tanks to get high or the tales of overload of psychiatric homes filled with teenagers and young adults.

I believe some elites are actually sponsoring and exporting the epidemic to the south because how can you explain a 13 year old Almajiri in Kano with packets of tramadol unless it was given to him.
