That's why they kill them like chickens. Stupid cowards.

Foreverdope:
A cab driver has taken to the social media platform to narrate how he boldly confronted a soldier, who smashed his car windscreen in Lagos

According to the cab driver identified as Faithful Olatunde, he claimed that he was driving from Muritala Mohammed International Airport Lagos.

He then came upon a traffic on the bridge towards Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH when he saw 2 soldiers directing traffic.

He narrated how his passenger wanted to buy gala which made him slow his vehicle down. This did not go down well with the Army officer who ordered the cab driver to move fast and when the vehicle got to the point of the officer, he smashed the car windscreen.

Faithful revealed how he had to park his car and started confronting the Army officer. Meanwhile, the cab driver revealed that he was being threatened and punished unnecessarily by the military man.

AxeofGod:
You have the gut to challenge a military official wielding a gun...

You saw them stationed ahead of you but still indulged your passenger the flimsy frivolity of purchasing common gala on the highway at the expense of the convenience of hundreds of vehicles behind you...

You know how much these soldiers suffer under the administration of Nigeria's depraved military yet you still had the effrontery to come out of your car and confront them...

You thereafter summoned the rude gut, the asinine audacity to bring out your phone and capture these soldiers in the course of the administration of their duty...

And still came on social media to feed your hungry ego with a conqueror's narrative over the Nigerian army...

Your cranium seriously requires the examination of a bullet from the gun of one of those Nigerian soldiers.

That does not warrant the breaking of one's windscreen. We must learn to stop making excuses for wrong things/actions.

Soldier was wrong.

Slowing down to buy gala may not also go down well with other road users who may be slowed down as a result of your gala buying episode.

This is the result when you recruit small children into the army. Their brains begin to twist. One day na one day. The earlier these boys in camo realise that Nigerians are no longer afraid of them, the better for them. E go burst one day.

When did it becomes the duty of army to control traffic. This country is not working. This country is just getting worst everyday
That’s the proper question to ask. Why would military uniformed men control traffic. There is an outfit for this but no, this is Nigeria where Nonsense thrive on a daily.

Next tell your passenger to buy gala at the bus stop and not in the center of the road. Nigerians is time we stop behaving like an animal.

The guy you slow down for to buy a gala will leave you there.

If soldiers were controlling traffic, it means the congestion was much, why stupidly slow down to buy gala on traffic that was already congested.

Nigerians only learn the hard way.

Let me calculate.

Obstruction of free flow of traffic (Lagos laws)

Vs

Price of windscreen and installation?

Plus ibuprofen for the swelling on the head

Plus price of cracked phone screen?

Plus price of wiper.

Driver wins cheesy

so because soldier is controlling traffic, a passenger cant buy snack?

Continue buying snacks in traffic. If Nigeria was actually lawful, a ticket would have been issued to you for that, which will in turn haunt you for a long time. But unfortunately, Nigeria is lawless, so you can even stop to poo in the midst of the traffic. I rest my case.

You typed absolutely RUBBISH! Was there a state of insurgency over that area ? Why must the soldier quell over nothing, is violence at any given time the best ? When did soldiers start engaging in traffic management when we've normal DTO from Ikeja division ? We already have loads of uniformed outfits in Lagos alone to ease traffic at various areas . I see no reason why the driver won't express his civic right under democratic dispensation NOR why the soldier won't apply professional decorum whilst dealing with a civilian . Adieu
