there is one direction guaranteed for selling clubs and that is down.
agreed clichy is a waste of space and should go. but sadly wenger don't buy quality. he waits for deadline day on transfer market and looks for the cheapest player from the french or an obscure African league to buy.
fabregas and nasri would be massive losses. its equivalent to viera and henri leaving. they are irreplaceable. especially with nasri going to a rival club. imagine him coming to the emirates and scoring the winning goal in a league match. that's when it would sink in for these wenger worshippers.
agreed wholesome changes need to be made by the gunners. the people that need to leave now include;

5. eboue

7. rosicky

they need to be replaced with quality. if i were the director i would replace them in that order for;

1. carlo ancelotti
2. Manuel neuer [goalkeeper for schalke]
3. a bold move for Pepe [real madrid]
4. if man u want nasri, then arsenal should exchange for one of their players and this would be chris smalling
5. virtually anyone is better than eboue. i can play that role if paid his money. for now h does not need to be replaced.
6. song`s failing is one of the main reason arsenal lose matches. he does not provide adequate cover for his centre backs. thank goodness for wiltshire. things were a bit more solid this season. they should go for Christopher samba of blackburn and convert him into a central midfielder

8. i would make a move for stewart downing. villa is falling apart and i believe their big players would jump at the chance to play champs league football.

and lastly as replacement for clichy, they should bid for Adriano of barca. barca already has 3 people minimum for left back position. i believe Adriano would move when presented with the chance of regular football.
