Yeah, soil test determined Raft. Also prevailing buildings in the estate is same. To my knowledge here, no one has done anything differently.

To your inquiries on yours...
If there is a major difference between your new plan and your existing then I would suggest it be filled up with sand or hardcore preferably in that regard then a fresh Raft done...

Its a bit treaky to say demolish the existing and firm new one completely unless the old ones would be used as rubble at some point in the foundation.

Anyone reading here with other options can still make their opinions known.

To the question posted, since he is still going to do over site conc, definitely the foundation can still be use. There is always a way to convert existing foundation to a new different floor plan.

It is possible to convert an existing foundation to suite your new plan of the changes or adjustments to what you want is not too big or different from the existing.

I have done that before through design though.

We were able to complete the oversite concrete works today. We equally have ordered blocks and they are delivered immediately as the works on foundation were going on. We are starting the block forming asap after wetting the concrete for 3hrs this morning...

We are set for block work now

We are progressing...

We are doing the lintel works now.
Welders are making the lintel reinforcement.
Plumbers are extending their pipes to cut across lintel to decking...

While we proceed with the concrete works on lintel only. Block laying and decking leveling will commence equally tomorrow as we proceed.
